MILFORD, Del. (AP) - State naturals resources officials say the DuPont Nature Center at Mispillion Harbor Reserve will close for the winter.
The Division of Fish and Wildlife says the center, located in Milford, will close from Friday through Feb. 28.
State officials say the closure comes after a reduction in available federal Sport Fish Restoration Funds.
The center is at intersection of the mouths of the Mispillion River and Cedar Creek. Its location offers viewing of spawning horseshoe crabs and migrating shorebirds.
