DOVER, Del. (AP) - A Delaware State University student has been shot at one of the school's off-campus residence halls in Dover.

Authorities say the male student was shot Monday afternoon in the parking lot of a 300-bed residence hall on U.S. Route 13, north of the main campus. The student, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It's unclear where the young man was shot and how many times.

The shooting prompted a school lockdown for several hours. It was lifted after campus police said they didn't believe there was a threat to any other students and that the shooting was an isolated incident.

No arrests have been made. An investigation is underway.
