The driver of a truck that was pinned under a tractor trailer on Route 50 near Racetrack Road has been identified as 69 year old Melvin Martin of Pittsville.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that police say he died at the scene.
The paper reports that the driver of the tractor trailer was identified as 58 year old Russell Morrison who was not injured.
State police say Martin was moving east bound on Route 50 at around 8 a.m. when he moved into the left side of the road hitting a ditch and then striking the truck.
Traffic going into Ocean City was closed for around four hours and rerouted.
