DOVER, Del. (AP) - Officials at Dover Air Force Base held a memorial service for an airman who went missing last month.

Officers, airmen and the friends and family of Senior Airman Keifer Huhman attended the service Friday afternoon to remember the life of the lost 21-year-old airman.

Huhman was last seen on Feb. 7, just hours before his truck was found on the shoulder of the bridge spanning the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. He was reported missing after failing to report for duty the next day.

Huhman's commander within the 436th Communications Squadron, Maj. Stacie A. Rembold, explained the loss has been difficult for the squadron but has brought them closer together.

While base officials have declared Huhman dead, his body has not been found. Dover police are still investigating the case.
