Development with Student Housing to Replace Court Plaza

Shore Cycles Website

The Court Plaza at the southern end of Salisbury is about to be demolished and replaced with a development that includes student housing.

The student facility will hold 600 beds and would be annexed into the Salisbury City limits.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the last of the holdouts are Shore Cycles, Dance Wear Etc. and Chuck’s Vacuums.

It is expected to be a mixed-use development with a parking garage a performing arts center and six apartment buildings.

But the property must be rezoned before annexation by the city can take place.
