Our guests this week will be two very popular authors and writing instructors Lynn Auld Schwartz and Laura Oliver. Both are instructors at the Bay to Ocean Writers Conference and both are mentors and writing workshop instructors at St. John’s College in Annapolis. They will offer essential tips for major elements of the writing craft. Laura Oliver will also discuss her memoir, The Story Within and how the elements are applied.
NOTE: We are asking our listeners to submit a short story that apply the elements of craft discussed with the possibility that the author would be invited to read their story on the air.

Stories should be recently written and may explore any theme suitable for public presentation.
They should not exceed five minutes in vocal reading.
If your story is selected for presentation and you cannot come to the Delmarva Public Radio Studio to record, an actor from the Community Players of Salisbury or a member of the Delmarva Public Radio staff will read your story on the air.
