creative commons epa

Seven members of a Delaware of Transportation maintenance crew got hit with chemical from a crop duster just east of Bridgeville yesterday.

State officials say that there were 13 workers out along Coverdale Road and Delaware Route 404.

When the crop duster flew by spraying the area they were covered with a green liquid.

They took refuge in the truck as the plane continued to spray the area.

Officials say the plane was spraying a soybean field.
