DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware officials are touting the state's inclusion in a new report ranking states according to their solar energy capacity.

Gov. Jack Markell and Delaware environmental secretary Collin O'Mara planned to join representatives of environmental and solar energy groups Tuesday in a teleconference discussing the report.

The report outlines conditions and policies that have resulted in an increase in solar energy in the U.S. The report ranks Delaware among the top 12 states for solar energy capacity.
