DOVER, Del. (AP) - State budget officials are continuing a series of hearing with state agencies on their funding needs for next fiscal year.

The Office of Management and Budget began its agency budget hearings earlier this week.

Officials will hear Friday from the Department of Finance, the state fire marshal's office, and the Delaware Advisory Council on Career and Technical Education.

Officials will use the input from state agencies and members of the public to fashion a proposed fiscal 2014 budget that Gov. Jack Markell will unveil in January.
