The storm's destruction has sent a shockwave through the Puerto Rican community on the U.S. mainland. Sergio Cuadreado is an IT special who lives in Wilmington and has family on the U.S. territory. He has not been able to contact them yet. Delmarva Public Radio's Don Rush spoke with him about his efforts to get supplies to the island and the mood of the community here on the mainland.

Don Rush is the News Director and Senior Producer of News and Public Affairs at Delmarva Public Media. An award-winning journalist, Don reports major local issues of the day, from sea level rise, to urban development, to the changing demographics of Delmarva.
