creative commons

A Hockessin man who was arrested after gunshots were fired at Vice President Joe Biden’s home in Delaware says he was accosted by police.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that 57-year old Rock Peters has not been charged in connection with the shooting.

He does face reckless endangering and resisting arrest after fleeing a police officer.

But Peters told the newspaper that the police were not telling the truth.

He says he was beaten by police and left with a swollen nose, rib injuries, multiple face abrasions and a black eye.

The paper says Peters provided photographs of his injuries.
