Delaware High Court to Hear Appeal in Earl Bradley Case

Earl Bradley, Del. State Police

DOVER (AP) — The Delaware Supreme Court is set to hear more arguments in the case of a former pediatrician convicted of sexually abusing scores of young patients.

A three-judge panel initially heard the appeal of Earl Bradley in June, but the justices ordered another hearing before the full court Wednesday. Attorneys for Bradley argue that his conviction should be overturned because a search warrant didn't allow police to seize a flash drive containing videotaped sex crimes against children.

Bradley was convicted last year by a judge who viewed more than 13 hours of videos showing sex crimes against more than 80 victims, most of them toddlers.

Bradley waived his right to a jury trial after the judge denied a defense motion to suppress the video evidence because it had been illegally seized.
