SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - Delaware Forest Service officials are sending another crew to help fight wildfires in the western United States.

A 20-person crew was scheduled to gather at Blackbird State Forest early Wednesday to be deployed for a two-week assignment fighting wildfires for the National Interagency Fire Center.

The group will travel first to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, before flying to Redmond, Oregon to be pre-positioned for a likely assignment in the Pacific Northwest or Northern California.

A team from Delaware just returned from a two-week assignment in Washington State last week.
