HARRINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Fair organizers say this year's slice of summer fun caters to both traditional tastes and users of modern technology.
The fair opens Thursday and runs through July 30 in Harrington.
Spokesman Danny Aguilar says in a statement the event will include staples such as barbecue, baby animals, carnival rides and a homemade ice-cream contest.
For the first time this year, visitors can learn all about the attractions through a mobile app available on the state fair website.
The concert line-up includes Little Big Town on July 24, Alabama July 25 and George Thorogood July 29. Blues Traveler headlines July 30, when the fair also features a craft beer festival.
