Cynthia Polk Makes Another Stab at Salisbury City Council Seat

ci.salisbury.md.us

Cynthia Polk is returning to take another shot at Salisbury’s First Council district.

She lost incumbent Shanie Shields by a one vote last time around.

Polk once worked at the Wayne Division of Dresser Equipment Group noting that it provided jobs and stimulated the local economy.

The majority-minority district primary next month we also see a challenge by April Jackson whose father brought the lawsuit that created the predominantly African American seat on the council.
