Cyber Security Camp Wraps Up In Delaware

United State Cyber Security Challenge

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - A cyber security camp in Delaware is celebrating its latest class of graduates.

More than 45 students from Wilmington University, the University of Delaware, Delaware State University and Delaware Technical and Community College have been attending the cyber security camp this week.

The camp at Wilmington University's New Castle campus is part of the United States Cyber Challenge, a program aimed at identifying and recruiting promising cyber security professionals.

Students at the fourth annual Delaware camp have been learning how to hack and defend major computer systems and networks.

The camp ends Friday with a contest requiring students to defend their computer networks against hackers, intruders and attacks in real-life cyber security scenarios, followed by a graduation ceremony.
