Cut in Capacity Fees To Be Considered By Salisbury City Council

google.com

The Salisbury City Council tonight will be looking at a cut in the city’s water and sewer connection fees by 60 percent for those buildings which are not connected to the city’s system.

This would mean a reduction from $8500 to just under $3400.

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce says the fee reduction will stimulate growth.

The revenue from the capacity fees has dropped dramatically from $1.6 million four years ago to $114,000 this year.
