Credit Card Skimmers Found in Ocean City

creative commons

Two credit card skimmers were found at the Sunoco gas pumps in Ocean City on 129th Street and at the Ocean Market at 142 Street.

Police tell the Salisbury Daily Times that it is not clear how many people were hit but they say that people should contact their local police department if they think they might have been affected.

The Ocean City police say they do not believe there are any more skimmers operating in the resort but businesses are encouraged to check to see if any are present.

If they find one, authorities say, they should not touch it but rather call the police.
