Construction Begins on Two New North Salisbury Blvd. Eateries

Salisbury’s northern landscape is changing again.

This time work crews are now pushing ahead with the construction of a Chipotle Mexican Grill and a Five Guys Burgers and Fries restaurant on the site of the old Zia’s Italian Grill.

The two restaurants will spread out over 54-hundred square feet near Gander Mountain.

The two restaurants will join other major chains along North Salisbury Boulevard such as the Rod Lobster, the Olive Garden as well as Starbucks and Arby’s.

Meanwhile, the Cracker Barrel is expected to be built on the old J.C. Penney’s site in the Centre at Salisbury.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that while it got the okay at a planning meeting earlier this year the company declined to comment on its involvement.

There has been no sign of construction at that site so far.
