Complaints About Delaware's Medical Marijuana Program

creative commons

There are complaints about packaging and pricing by patients buying medical marijuana from First State Compassion Center which distributes the product.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that Judith McDonald told an oversight committee that a gram costs $17 which she says it too high.

The paper reports that the center does offer discounts based on income.

The testimony was heard by the Delaware Medical Marijuana Oversight Committee at its first meeting.

It includes physicians, community members and state officials.

They are expected to provide recommendations on improving the law and program.
