Comics Galore in Ocean City Comic Con Event

Don Rush

Comic Con is coming to Ocean City.

Comic book fans gamers and others are expected to flock to the Grand Hotel and Spa on Saturday.

OC Comic Con Coordinator James Dufendach told the Salisbury Daily Times that the event is the result of years of talk and hard work.

The paper reports that there will be panel discussion, anime screenings as well as venders and artists.

Dufendach, editor of PLB Comics, said he and the company’s two founding brothers Josh and Matthew Shockley started working on the event in 2016.

He told the paper that there has always been a fan base for comics but in the last ten years there has been a boom in movies and merchandising.

Doors will open at 10 a.m. and things will wrap up at 5 p.m.
