DOVER, Del. (AP) - Former federal prosecutor Colm Connolly says he will not seek the GOP nomination for attorney general.

Connolly told WDEL (http://bit.ly/Qg5MfK) Wednesday that his oldest child is in college and his three other children will be in high school next year. Connolly, who is in private practice, says it just isn't the right time.

Attorney General Beau Biden, a Democrat, announced last month that he would not seek a third term and instead focus on a run for governor in 2016.

Lt. Gov. Matt Denn has filed to be a Democratic candidate in the attorney general's race this year.
