A Delaware church wants to demolish the former home of Earl Bradley a pediatrician who was convicted in a child sexual abuse scandal that rocked the state.
The Bethel United Methodist church which owns the property yesterday asked the Lewes Historic Preservation Commission to be able to tear down the house.
His office where the abuse took place has already been taken down.
Reverend Earle Baker told WBOC said that the house had a stain on it.
The commission chair Elaine Simmerman said last night that there would be a public hearing – most likely in April – to consider the request.
Bradley is serving a life sentence after being convicted of molesting 103 children.
