22-year old Brandon Moore was arrested during the Christmas parade in Salisbury while protesting the treatment of African American men by law enforcement.
He will now have to serve fives day in jail along with 45 day in the warden’s work program.
In addition, he will have to pay $700 in fines.
He will also be on two years of supervised probation.
The counts included second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and failure to obey a reasonable lawful order.
Moore is the first of three who were arrested that day as they disrupted the parade.
37 year-old James Fleming and 41 year-old Jermaine Walker – both from Baltimore -- will face trials in May and June.
