Christine O'Donnell Asks for Sympathy and Money

book cover

Christine O’Donnell, the Tea Party favorite who lost her Senate bid against Democrat Chris Coons, is trying to raise money again and sympathy.

This time she claimed that he was victimized by the IRS and Delaware’s Division of Revenue.

O’Donnell wrote an op-ed for the New York Post on Saturday in which she claims she was preyed upon by state and federal officials who leaked her private tax records damaging her 2010 Senate campaign.

The Wilmington News Journal reports this is a reference to a publicly available federal tax lien that was filed in New Castle County as the IRS audited her 2005 tax return for unpaid federal taxes.

The op-ed came just days after O’Donnell sent out another fundraising letter.
