The recent bomb hoax at the Centre at Salisbury could have cost the mall as much as a quarter of a million dollars.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that’s according to past year financial statements at the anchor stores.

For the nearby restaurants that include the Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Longhorn Steakhouse the potential loss was $33-thousand.

Meanwhile, Macy’s loss was a potential $90- thousand.

The National Retail Federation says that retail centers do prepare for emergency closing anticipating at least one during a period.
