There were over a couple of hundred people yesterday who showed up for International Drone Day at Brandywine Creek State Park yesterday.
The event was sponsored by Skygear solutions whose headquarters are located nearby in Stanton.
There were demonstrations that included obstacle course races.
The park is generally a no-drone zone.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that it was part of a global event that saw over 150 teams with 40-thousand participants round the world.
