Congressman John Carney says he is outraged that he has not received an inspector general’s report on the problems at Veterans Affairs two years after the scandal first surfaced.

The Department’s watchdog group looked into 73 VA facilities and found scheduling problems in 51 cases.

The inspector general found problems at the Wilmington VA that resulted in disciplinary actions several months ago.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that the Delaware Democrat complains he still had not gotten the full picture so that congress can address the problems.

The News Journal says that following a Freedom of Information Request Act from USA Today the inspector general’s office said it would provide the public with a report shortly.

Late last year President Obama signed a measure that required the release of the report.
