ewallpapers.eu

The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a missing 15-year old Alvaro Lopez who was last seen struggling against the current off Cape Charles on Sunday night.

Authorities have identified him as a ninth grade student from Nandua High School.

The U.S. Coast Guard got a telephone call about 6:30 p.m. after a man emerged fatigued from the water and said he was with a boy who apparently disappeared beneath the surface.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the Coast Guard has a 25 foot boat from Station Cape Charles as well as a helicopter from Air Station Elizabeth City involved in the search.

In addition, the Virginia Marine Resources Commission and the Cape Charles Fire Department were also on hand.
