Body Found on Ocean City Beach

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) - Police say a body has been discovered floating offshore in Ocean City.
 
Ocean City Police say in a statement that officers and beach patrol responded to a report of a body found Tuesday afternoon. Lifeguards recovered the body, which police say showed signs of having been in the water for a long time.
 
The body was a male, but police haven't specified whether it's a boy or adult.
 
An autopsy will be conducted on the body in the coming days.
 
Police say there currently aren't any known missing persons in the area.
