WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A body has been found after a 20-year-old man jumped into a creek at a state park and disappeared.

Delaware State Police said in a statement that the body was found Wednesday in the water near the Delaware Northern Greenway Trail.

Police say Miguel Angel Del Valle jumped into Brandywine Creek using a rope swing on Monday and was last seen going over a dam. Police say he had been at Alapocas Run State Park with three other people and they called 911 after returning homes to Wilmington.

The body was pulled from the water and turned over to the Division of Forensic Sciences. An autopsy will be performed to determine the person's identity and the cause and manner of death.
