Authorities are investigating the death of 41-year Eric Rhatigan whose body was found on Wednesday.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that it was discovered in a field near Davis Wharf Road in Accomack County.
Rhatigan’s death is considered to be a homicide although the final determination of what caused his death is awaiting an autopsy.
The Washington Post reports that his brother died from a 1999 beating in Northern Virginia.
