ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Police have recovered the body of a man who disappeared after his sailboat sank in the Chesapeake Bay.

Maryland Natural Resources Police spokeswoman Candy Thomson says a charter boat came across the body of 46-year-old Adrian Perez on Wednesday morning.

Perez was from Upper Marlboro. He was fishing with his son, another man and that man's three children on Sunday when his boat sank near the Bay Bridge. Police say the people on board didn't have time to put on life jackets. A nearby boater pulled the other five people from the water.

An autopsy will be performed on Perez's body, but Thomson says there's no reason to think his death was suspicious. He was the 17th person to die while boating in Maryland waters this year.
