Blue Hens Get White House Get Tour From Vice President Joe Biden

NEWARK, Del. (AP) - The University of Delaware women's basketball team has been treated to one final highlight following the most successful season in school history.

The News Journal of Wilmington (http://delonline.us/IUcCj4 ) reports that Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday gave the Blue Hens, their coaches and school administrators a personal tour of the White House and then hosted them for a poolside dinner at the vice president's residence in Washington.

The vice president is a graduate of the University of Delaware and says he took a "keen interest" as the team went 31-2 on the season and reached the second round of the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history.

The team had won 21 straight games before losing to Kansas in the NCAA tournament.
