Berlin Town Officials Seek Public Input for Henry Park Improvements

The Berlin Parks Commission wants to create a subcommittee to look at ways to improve Henry Park.

The group will get input from neighbors to develop recommendations for the parks commission.

Grant money has allowed the town to hire a company to come up with a design for a walking path.

Mary Bohlen, Berlin’s deputy town administrator, and liaison to the parks commission told the Salisbury Daily Times that there is a similar path at Stephen Decatur Park.

Mike Wiley, chair of the parks commission, added that particular walking path is heavily used.

Plans for the Henry Park path should be completed by this summer so that town can apply for grant money in August to build it.
