Peninsula Regional Medical Center has decided to modify its visiting policies in the face of one of the worst flu season on Delmarva.
The changes range from allowing only two adults to visit patient care areas and restricting access by children to reducing exposure to expectant mothers.
Hospital officials say 121 people have tested positive for the flu so far this year.
That’s compared to 80 cases during last year’s 2013-2014 flu season.
In addition, there are 26 inpatients with the flu.
That is double what it was last year.
