BALTIMORE (AP) - Transportation officials are warning commuters that more traffic than normal should be expected on the Bay Bridge because of Sunfest in Ocean City.

The Maryland Transportation Authority on Wednesday urged drivers to travel during off-peak hours from Thursday through Sunday, when the festival will be taking place. Off-peak hours are Friday before 10 a.m. and after 10 p.m.; Saturday before 7 a.m. and after 5 p.m.; and Sunday before 10 a.m. and after 10 p.m.

This weekend's Sunfest will be the 39th time the festival has been held. It includes food, arts and crafts, hayrides and musical entertainment. The Beach Boys are scheduled to perform Saturday night.
