Authorities Warn Motorists of Icy Road Conditions

Motorists are being urged to drive carefully with near freezing weather causing icy road conditions.

Three have been dozens of crash reported across Delaware with most of them caused by drivers losing control and spinning off the road.

The National Weather Service has pushed its freezing rain advisory to 1 p.m. but adds that motorist should expect some sleet.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that Delmarva Power has reported 120 customers without power in the Blackbird Station Road area near Townsend.
