ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A new poll in the Maryland governor's race shows Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown with a big lead over his Democratic primary rivals.

Tuesday's Washington Postpoll found that 46 percent of likely Democratic voters supported Brown. Twenty-three percent backed Attorney General Doug Gansler, and Del. Heather Mizeur was third with 16 percent.

A survey in February also put Brown ahead by more than 20 points.
