Annual Crab and Clam Bake Set for Wednesday in Crisfield

National Republicans may be meeting in Cleveland to nominate presumptive nominee Donald Trump but at least one Republican will be here on the Eastern Shore.

Governor Larry Hogan who has he will not be voting for Trump will be on hand for the 40th Annual J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clam Bake this Wednesday.

It’s an all-you-can eat affair held in the Somers Cove Marina where politicians often come to schmooze with the local residents.

Delegate Kath Szelia, a Republican who wants to succeed the retiring Senator Barbara Mikulski, has also reportedly said she will be there.

The event is held from noon to 4 p.m.

Admission is $45 per person.

Besides the venders there will also be live entertainment.
