Accident Rate Lower than Expected in Delaware on Holiday

Don Rush

While there was some treacherous road conditions in Delaware yesterday the total number of accidents were lower than expected.

Sussex County police said they saw 50 with damage to the vehicle and only one injury.

WBOC reports that most of these occurred between 8 a.m. and noon.

Delaware State Police say most of this was due to the holiday on Monday.
