The grant was awarded by the Department of Veterans Affairs will allow several groups to expand their programs.

David Mosley, director of the Delaware Center for Homeless Veterans, says he plans to add staff and possibly expand his 10-bed shelter.

The grant is also being shared with the People's Place, a Milford-based aid provider that offers career and mental health counseling and other services.

Catholic Charities and Connections Community Support Programs, two much larger aid agencies, also will benefit from the grant.
