3rd Annual Latino Summit Held in Georgetown

There were over 350 people who gathered in Georgetown for the 3rd Annual Latino Summit.

The theme was aimed at developing young Hispanic leaders under the banner, ”Connecting through Civic Engagement.”

The summit was held at Del Tech by the Delaware Hispanic Commission put together by Governor Jack Markell.

Commission member Maria Matos said it was important for the community to speak with one.

The summit discussions ranged from health and education to networking opportunities.
