The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore says an anonymous donor has pledged to match $25-thousand in donations for hurricane relief efforts in Texas.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the Foundation has already said it will match $5-thousand with its own money.

The foundations says that 100 percent of all donations will go toward the relief effort through the Greater Houston Community Foundation’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.

Foundation president Erica Joseph told the paper that the organization adheres to a rigid set of standards and careful review that ensures that donations go to both long and short term recovery efforts.
