The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a missing 15-year old boy who was last seen struggling against the current off Cape Charles on Sunday night.
The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. when a man who emerged fatigued from the water who said he was with a boy who apparently is now missing.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the Coast Guard has a 25 foot boat from Station Cape Charles as well as a helicopter from Air Station Elizabeth City involved in the search.
In addition, the Virginia Marine Resources Commission and the Cape Charles Fire Department were also on hand.
