(AP) - Authorities say a 241-year-old church on the National Register of Historic Places has been ravaged by fire in Maryland.</p><p>Oliver J. Alkire, senior deputy state fire marshal, said in a news release that the fire was reported at St. Paul's Episcopal Church just before midday Tuesday. Officials say nearly 100 firefighters from Maryland and Delaware fought the flames.</p><p>No injuries were reported.</p><p>The Rev. (AP) - State fire investigators say a blaze has destroyed a motor vehicle repair facility in Salisbury.</p><p>Flames shot high into the air and smoke could be seen for miles as the fire burned at the building occupied by D&amp;D Repairs on Thursday evening.</p><p>Salisbury Fire Chief Rick Hoppes says the owner was working inside when the fire broke out, but was able to escape. (AP) - Leaders of St. Paul's by-the-Sea Episcopal Church have decided to demolish its rectory, which was destroyed in a fire that killed the pastor.</p><p>According to a church newsletter, leaders decided last month to demolish rather than renovate the rectory, which was destroyed on Nov. 16.</p><p>The Ocean City Fire Marshal's Office has said that 56-year-old John Sterner purchased gasoline, poured it on himself and set himself ablaze. (AP) - Co-workers say a car wash cashier was severely burned when her dress was ignited by an electrical heater.</p><p>It happened Saturday at Soft-Touch Car Wash in Salisbury. Cashier Jennifer Camper tells the Daily Times of Salisbury that Karen Jenkins' dress touched a heat coil and caught fire.</p><p>Camper says Jenkins ran in a panic and a co-worker knocked her down and smothered the fire.
