On Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 2:00pm, the Rehoboth Beach Public Library will be hosting a book signing and discussion with Candy Abbott, the local author of the recent title, “I Have Never Loved Him More: a Husband’s Alzheimer’s, a Wife’s Devotion.” “I’ve Never Loved Him More” is one wife’s story about what “in sickness and in health” truly means in the face of Alzheimer’s. Brimming with humor, faith, and the indomitable human spirit, Candy Abbott’s book transcends the limits of its own subject, providing assistance to anyone facing struggles within their own life. At the event, Candy Abbott will read selections from her indelible book, and she will be signing copies for interested patrons as well. There will also be a discussion concerning caregiving, Alzheimer’s, and resources for those facing terminal illness hand-in-hand with their loved ones. Local caregivers from around the area will be on hand to lend their expertise and to add depth to what is sure to be an informative conversation. A local resident, Candy Abbott also runs her own Christian publishing company. Founded in 1999, Fruitbearer Publishing, LLC seeks to produce quality publications that offer a professional, personalized approach to Christian audiences. You can find out more about Candy’s new book, as well as other Fruitbearer titles, on their website at www.fruitbearer.com. Like most everything else at the library, the book signing will be free of charge to the public, regardless of whether they have a library card or not.
